The main goal of this department is the welfare of the patients. To achieve this, the department holds regular meetings with patients and their relatives to discuss and share their valuable input.

The generosity of the community enables the department to collect funds which are utilized for patients who cannot afford the cost of treatment. Patients who cannot afford the requisite charges are treated free or on a nominal fee basis for the services which include check-up, In-patient admission, dialysis, lithotripsy and other surgical procedures, through zakat and other donations.

A 'halaf-nama' is a pre-requisite for the free treatment from zakat funds.
