Situated in the heart of Karachi, the seven (07) storey Kidney Centre building was once merely a dream of a few dedicated individuals. Fired with a sprit of community service, they set out to build a non-profit institution that would provide prompt medical treatment for all nephrourological ailments under one roof. Free of cost to those who could not afford to pay. In the first phase, The Kidney Centre initiated a small dialysis unit with just 2 machines.

Now twenty-two years later, it is a 100-bed, specialist institution providing complete care for prophylaxis and therapeutic management of nephro-urological diseases that meets the highest international standard. The Kidney Centre Post Graduate Training Institute also serves as an excellent teaching, research and continuing educational institution for nephrology, urology and related fields.
