TKCI encourages individual’s specially young people to perform Volunteer community service. In this context, it allows internships for community service to young individuals both from within the country or abroad. The desirous individuals should be endowed with:

The Volunteers who do community service at TKCI will have to access to patients in different departments which include Emergency Department, Dialysis Centre, Free Filter Clinic, Consultancy Clinics, Medical Record Department, In-Patient Ward. etc
The Volunteers may be required to do the following:

Amelioration of the condition of the sick through interaction and assurance

Evaluation of financial condition of needy patients
1
Filling in of questionnaires relating to qualification of assistance
1
Distribution of preventive literature on various types of renal disease
1
Solution of problems being faced by patients
Those doing community service will be given Certificates
